Lakos Automation (“Lakos Automation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you visit lakosautomation.com, use our services, interact with our AI-powered tools, or otherwise communicate with us.

This Privacy Policy is intended primarily for Lakos Automation’s business-to-business services and covers our website, client onboarding processes, communications, and AI automation services.

Information We Collect

Lakos Automation may collect the following categories of personal information and related data:

  • Information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company name, project details, onboarding information, and other contact or account-related information.
  • User input submitted to AI-powered tools or automation workflows, including prompts, messages, uploaded content, and related interaction data necessary to provide the service.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, log data, timestamps, page interactions, service performance data, and other diagnostic or analytics information.
  • Cookie and similar tracking information collected through analytics and website functionality tools.

Lakos Automation does not intentionally collect payment card information directly through its website at this time, and it does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information or special-category data as part of its standard services.

Lakos Automation does not use client data for AI model training by default. Client data may only be used for model improvement, testing, or fine-tuning where the client has given explicit written opt-in consent or has otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

AI Data Handling

Client prompts, outputs, uploaded materials, and workflow data may be processed as necessary to deliver the requested service. We may retain limited AI interaction data for logging, debugging, abuse prevention, quality assurance, and security purposes for a limited period, consistent with our retention practices.

Lakos Automation does not use AI systems for fully automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals. AI outputs are intended to support business processes and automation services, not to replace legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional judgment.

Cookies and Analytics

Lakos Automation uses cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, understand usage patterns, improve the user experience, and measure site performance.

Data Retention

Lakos Automation retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, contract, or legitimate business need.

Retention practices include:

  • Account and contact data: while the relationship or account is active, and for up to 3 years after the last interaction
  • AI interaction data, prompts, logs, and related workflow content: generally up to 90 days for logging, debugging, security, and quality assurance purposes
  • Technical and security logs: generally up to 12 months
  • Website analytics data: according to applicable vendor retention settings and defaults, typically around 14 months where Google Analytics or similar services are used

We may retain certain information for longer where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain appropriate business records.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and the nature of your relationship with Lakos Automation, you may have privacy rights under applicable law. Lakos Automation supports the following rights, subject to legal, technical, and contractual limitations:

These measures include encrypted transmission over TLS, encryption at rest through relevant providers where available, access controls and least-privilege permissions, backups and recovery planning, and logging and monitoring for security and troubleshooting. Where applicable, Lakos Automation may rely on vendor contracts and data processing terms with key service providers.

International Data Transfers

Lakos Automation is based in the United States, State of Florida, and may store or process information in the United States and other countries where its service providers are located.

Where required by law, Lakos Automation implements appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as data protection agreements and standard contractual clauses or similar contractual safeguards with service providers.

Children’s Privacy

Lakos Automation’s services are primarily intended for business users and are not directed to children. Lakos Automation does not knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so would violate applicable law.
